Like myself, I am sure many people are wrestling with the question, “Do I buy food this week or pay my credit card payment?”

Well, it seems we’ve got a bit of a “chicken or the egg” situation here, don’t we? In the grand game of “life or debt,” it’s a tough call. On the one hand, you’ve got your basic human needs: food and shelter, which are the foundation of Maslow’s hierarchy of needs. On the other hand, you’ve got the credit card debt, the modern-day financial albatross around our necks.

In today’s economy, where the cost of living seems to be skyrocketing faster than a SpaceX rocket, it might be wise to “prioritize” your Four Walls first: – food, utilities, shelter, and transportation. After all, you can’t eat your credit card debt, right? Living in a cardboard box might not be the best long-term solution – unless you want a minimalist aesthetic.

However, it’s worth considering the impact of credit card debt on your financial health. High interest rates can make it feel like you’re trying to climb out of an economic black hole. So, while keeping a roof over your head and food on the table is essential, finding a balance and not letting your credit card debt spiral out of control is crucial.

It’s like trying to juggle flaming chainsaws while riding a unicycle on a tightrope. It’s a delicate balancing act, and the best approach might be to focus on your basic needs first while also making a plan to tackle that credit card debt. Remember, Rome wasn’t built in a day, nor will your financial stability.

The following information is what I found.

The absence of mandatory reporting and preservation of central crime data by law enforcement entities significantly impacts the ability to accurately determine cause and effect in significant crime categories in the U.S. This is because the collected data may be incomplete, leading to an inaccurate picture of crime trends and patterns. For example, in 2021, only 11,794 of 18,806 law enforcement agencies in the U.S. reported crime data to the FBI; in 2022, only 15,726 of 18,888 participating law enforcement agencies submitted crime data.

This incomplete data can lead to a distorted picture of crime trends, making it difficult to accurately identify the causes and effects of crime in different categories. Without a complete and accurate dataset, it is challenging to draw reliable conclusions about the factors contributing to crime and the effectiveness of varying crime prevention strategies.

The lack of mandatory reporting and preservation of central crime data by law enforcement entities in the U.S. significantly hampers the ability to determine cause and effect in significant crime categories, leading to potential inaccuracies in crime trend analysis and policy-making.

I suggest mandatory reporting and preservation of crime data at the County level. Somebody may establish Protocols and agreements to share data beyond the county level. 

Perhaps we can work together to correct this issue.
